The community held a meet

night to discuss some plans of
the contest. The next monthly
meeting will be held in the home

Friday night, Sept. 24.
Miss Lois Bridges has bought
a home in Summerville and she
and her mother, Mrs. Belle j
Bridges, will soon move to their
new home there.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hughes
and sons, of Gore, were at church
here Sunday.
The homecoming will be at the
church here Sunday, Sept. 19.
Plans are for good preaching,
singing and dinner on the
ground.
Next Friday and Saturday all
who want to help are going to
start hauling gravel to start the
foundation for the new church.
The people have been working
and planning this new church
building for a long time.
Several people from the moun
tain are attending the revival
meeting at Unity church in Dirt
town Valley. J. B. King drixtes
a truck and carries all who want
