The Farm Bureau meeting held
its meeting last Friday night in
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milton
Rosser. A large crowd was pres
ent W. M. Story made an inter
resting talk on the Farm Bureau.
George Bishop discussed forest
fires. Although Sand Mountain
has not had a tire this year, he
mentioned that, and the cooper
ation of the people in trying to
keep down fires. C. A. Brooks
talked about the community con
test, and said even though Sand
Mountain won first place the
other two communities did a fine
job. He praised them for their
fine work and cooperation. Sand
Mountain has done a good job
and some real improvements
were shown this year.
Mrs. Z. M. Cooper wishes to

Mountain for their fine work and
cooperation in this contest. She
is president and Eugene Mathis
is secretary and treasurer.
