OCR CHRISTMAS CARD TO
YOU
When we pass the homes at
night,
The windows flash with colored
lights,
On every side there is a mark,
To place a thought up on our
heart
The Christ who died is living yet
Upon the cross He paid our debt,
And when we hear the bells that
ring,
The sound of love and songs they
sing,
The heart is broke and filled
with peace,
Throughout the ages to never
cease,
No man hath known
Such grace that’s shown
Until he finds the Christ that’s
bom,
With tender words then he can
say;
I am glad of Christmas Day.
For in those hours our thoughts
are called,
To see the babe in the manger
stall.
And too we see the star above,
The Wise Men with the gifts of
love,
With open hands spread in the
air,
With sweetest voices pure and
clear,
Praise to God the Saviopr is here.
No place so grand or dear.
Yes in the year of 1948.
There are little pale eyes and
tender hands awaits.
Their cabins are rough.
Their homes are bare,
But thank God, Jesus is there.
Friends if there is a suffering
child for need of food on Christ
mas day, what would you do, or
what would you say? Don’t for
get your little friends around
you.
We are heard over WGWD
Gadsden station each Saturday,
at 10:00 a. m. and come to the
Berryton Baptist Church each
Sunday, and to Chesterfield at
2:00 p. m. Alabama time each
Sunday evening. Send all offer
ings to ’ Rev. Howard Fluster.
