IN MEMORIAM
Ot My Husband, J. W. Elsberry
One year a**.o today dear God
My heart was made so sad for I lost
The dearest thing on earth I had
A husband who was so good and kind
The Lord called him. left me behind.
His smiles were bright, his laughter gay
On wings my loved one flew away
He flew to mansions bright above
The man God made for one to love.
Warren dear we had to part
And even though it breaks my heart
I know that God above knew best
He took you home with Him to rest.
I’m all alone on earth my dear
tour loving voice I’ll never hear
But some sweet day in heaven above
We’ll be together forever my love.
111 hear your voice, I’ll see your loving
smiles
It can’t be long, Just a little while
Please wait for me inside the gate
Warren dear. I’ll not be late.
Oh husband mine so kind and sweet
I thank the Lord he let us meet
On earth awhile to have our love
Before he called you home above.
We were so happy my dear
A little more than forty-seven years
I think you love for all'this bliss
Your love God alone know how I miss.
