BERRYTON NEWS Mrs. Lilly Barksdale, of At lanta, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Andrew McGraw. Mrs. Emma Young has been spending two week’s here at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew McGraw. A successful meeting is being held at the Walnut Grove Bap tist Church near LaFayette, the Rev. Johnny Hutchins is the pastor and the Rev. Floyd Hig gins is preaching. Miss Rosie Lee McGraw and her aunt, Mrs. Lilly Barksdale, of Atlanta, were shopping in Rome Saturday. Mrs. L. U. Cox is better after a recent ilness. Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Kellett visited his mother recently who is improving after a several week’s illness. Mrs. Alice Tucker is better af ter an illness of some time. Billy Willingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Willingham, left Monday for Fort Jackson to join the Army.
