GA. VETS SOON WILL
GET LIFE PERMITS
ATLANTA, — (GPS) An at
tractively designed permanent
free driver’s license soon will be
issued to all Georgia war vet
erans, according to state of
ficials. Bearing the State seal
and the signature of the Gov
ernor, the laminated, billfold

will issue the permanent type
licenses to veterans, many of
whom already have applied and
have temporary free licenses
It is not necessary for veter
ans to go to the State Patrol
headquarters and stand in line.
They may mail a photostatic
copy of their discharge papers
together with the application
blanks for driver’s license to
the Department of Public
Safety, 959 East Confederate
Ave., S. E., Atlanta, Ga.
If a veteran does not have a
photostatic copy, he may mail
some other adequate proof of
his service, it was explained.
