Miss Daphne Toles, of Rome,
spent the week-end with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. H.
Toles, and sister, Miss Iris Toles.
Mrs. J. H. Dempsey is ill at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. D.
Dempsey. Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Dempsey, of Summerville, were
visiting Mrs. Dempsey Monday.
Several from Alpine attended
the funeral of Mr. H. C. Jones at
Oak Hill Monday. We extend our
sympathy to the family.

attended the revival which was
in progress at the Mountain
View Church, near Trion, where
the Rev. Billy Patterson, of
Rome, was in charge of the serv
ices.
