Commencement Exercises Mon
day morning in which their son,
Frank Lee, Jr., was receiving his
degree from Mercer University.
They were accompanied by their
younger son, Bob. On their way
they stopped in Summerville to
get Rev. and Mrs. J. A. Smith,
who went as far as Atlanta to
visit their children. They at
tended services Sunday night at
the First Baptist Church of East
Point, at which services they
witnessed the baptismal rites of
a great-granddaughter.

Mrs. P. W. Gayler of Summer
ville and Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Ray
of Trion, spent the week-end of
May 15th, with Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Stravinsky, in Allentown,
Pennsylvania. Mr. and Mrs. Ray
returned home May 18th. Mrs.
P. W. Gayler remained for two
weeks, returning by the “Golden
Falcon Plane” from Newark,
New Jersey, on May 30th.

Mrs. Harris is employed at
Jordan's Department Store in
Summerville. Mr. Harris is editor
of The Summerville News.
The bride wore a pink eyelet
dress and white accessories. Her
corsage was of white gardenias.
Shortly after the wedding, the
couple left for Atlanta and Ma
con. Next week they will attend

She also visited her daughter,
Mrs. J. A. Mills, and attended
the graduation at Lindale of her
grandson, John Mills.
