The Church of Christ at 412 S. Commerce Street here, closed a good Vacation Bible School last
Friday. There was an enrollment of 124 and an average attendance of 120 each night. The church
is growing and everyone is invited to attend its regular services.

The members of Lyerly Bap
tist Church wish to thank every
one who had a part in the Vaca
tion Bible School. Not only do
they wish to thank the workers
who had charge, but also the
ladies of both Missionary Cir
cles who furnished refresh
ments daily, and the other de
nominations who co-operated by
urging their children to attend.
The Bible School was a huge
success. There was an enroll
ment of 90 for the week with an
average daily attendance of 82.
R. C. Wilson, of Jackson, Ga.,
spent the week-end with his
son, J. L. Wilson, Mrs. Wilson
and family.
Robert Hollis of Atlanta spent
a few days with Mr. and Mrs.
Jim Hollis last week.
Mr. and Mrs. John W. Rose of
LaFayette spent the week-end
here with relatives.
Miss Anne Weesner, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D.
Weesner, Jr., was confined to
her home last week due to a
throat infection.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stevenson of
Dahlonega spent the week-end
with their parents. Mr. and Mrs.
Eli Stephenson, in Summerville
and Mr. and Mrs. Albert White
and Robby. They returned to
their home Monday where Mrs.
Stephenson resumed her studies
as a senior at North Georgia Col
lege.
