Her skirt with lace inserts, ex- ;
tended to a chapel length train, '
and in front lace medallions I
were centered with seed pearls.
Her bridal veil of illusion was i
attached to a satin head piece,
covered with lace and seeded j i
pearls, and edged with lace i <

of the valley and stephanotis.
Mrs. Henry Chappealer, aunt,
was matron of honor. She wore
a medium blue taffeta gown,
street length, with fitted bodice
and scoop neckline, coming to a
point in the back. Her bandeau
was of medium blue and she
carried a colonial bouquet of
white pon-pons centered with
blue, matching her gown. Miss
Myrtis Parker attended her sis
; ter as maid of honor. Her gown,
bandeau and flowers were iden
■ ticai to those of the matron of
| honor.
The bridesmaids, Misses Betty
Morris, Jo Parker, Vera Johnson
and Sandra Lowry, wore gowns
identical to the matron of
honor, in light blue. They wore
matching bandeaus and they
carried colonial bouquets of pink
pon-pons. Misses Teresa John
son, sister of the groom, was
junior bridesmaid. Her dress and
bandeau was light blue pat
terned like the bridesmaid. She
carried colonial bouquets of
white pon-pons with blue.
David Bean, nephew of the
groom, was ring bearer, and
Terri Lynn Gaylor, cousin of the
bride, was flower girl.
Gerald Dempsey served as best
man.
Groomsmen were Steve Ed
wards, Curtis Gaylor, Earl Mc-
Connell and Jimmy Lee.

Becomes Bride of
Rev. J. C. White
Miss Linda Mcßae, daughter
of O. L. Mcßae and the late Mrs.
Mcßae, of Route 2, LaFayette,
and J. C. White, son of the Rev.
and Mrs. J. C. White of Trion,
were married recently at the
Mountain View Baptist Church..
The Rev. Milo Knight, pastor of
the church, officiated.
The bride wore a powder blue
dress with white accessories and
her corsage was white carna
tions. Miss Martha Howard, of
LaFayette, maid of honor, was
the bride’s only attendant. The
Rev. James Bailey, of Trion,
served the groom as best man.
The bride is a graduate of the
1959 class of LaFayette High
School.
The groom attended Trion
High School and spent two years
with the U. S. Navy. He is as
sistant pastor of the Mountain
View Baptist Church where he
is engaged in youth work. He
has received many honors in Boy
Scout work, being an Eagle Scout
and last summer received the
God and Country Award.
The couple will reside at 42
Moore Street in Trion.
LITTLES HONOREES
AT DINNER PARTY
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Little of
Summerville, who were wed in
May, were guests of honor last
evening at a dinner party given
by Mrs. R. W. Nelson of Atlanta.
Mrs. Nelson is Mrs. Little’s
grandmother and the fete was
at the Nelson home.
Mrs. Little was the former Miss
Kay Nelson. ,
church dining room.
The bride’s table, covered with
a white damask linen cloth, was
centered with a two tiered cake,
encircled with ivy. Miss Joyce
Eleam served cake and Miss
Judy Weaver presided at the
punch bowl, encircled with
flowers.
Mrs. Gerald Dempsey kept the
bride’s book.
Immediately following the
ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Johnson
left for a southern wedding trip.
For traveling Mrs. Johnson chose
a green and white linen suit,
with black accessories. She wore
the orchid from her bridal bou
quet.
They will reside on Kelly
Street, Summerville.

Teague - Deering Marriage ;
Performed in Fori Payne
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Deering
announce the marriage of their
daughter, Barbara, to PFC Don
ald A. Teague, of Rome.
The ceremony was solemnized
July 2 in Fort Payne, Ala.
Mrs. John Teague, Summer
ville, is the sister of the bride.
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Teague,
of Rome, are parents of the
groom. His sisters are Mrs. Bar
bara Elsberry, Misses Shirley
and Linda Teague, all of Rome.
His brothers are Eddie and
Johnny Teague of Rome.
Mrs. Teague is residing with
her parents until PFC Teague is
out of service. They plan to live
in Rome.

Plan Homecoming
Homecoming .will be observed

Demonstration clubs held a
meeting Monday at the Exten
sion Club House in South Sum
merville.
Mrs. Paul Hosmer, Council
president, presided and plans
were made for the remainder of
this year. A covered dish lunch
eon was enjoyed at noon. Four
clubs were represented.
McDonald to Speak
At Unity Revival
The Rev. Roger McDonald,
pastor of the Summerville First
1 Baptist Church, will speak in a
1 revival series at the Unity Bap
l tist Church.
The revival will be at 8 p.m.
beginning Sunday and continu
ing through the following Sun
day.
