TRION WOMAN BECOMES CITIZEN— Mrs. Roy L.
Frady, shown with her children Mary Ann and Bobby,
says July 4 had special significance for her this year—
she had just become a citizen of the United States. Mrs.
Frady is a native of Germany. Her husband, an Army
career man, is now in Korea and she and the children
reside in a trailer near her sister-in-law, Mrs. Robert
Akins and Mr. Akins, 25 Ninth St. The family plans to
return to Germany in October to visit Mrs. Frady’s
mother, six sisters and one brother.

CADETS CAVIN, KLING
GET ROTC TRAINING
Cadets Thomas E. Kling and
David S. Cavin, of Menlo, are
receiving six weeks of training
at the Army Reserve Officer
Training Corps (ROTC) summer
camp at Fort Benning. The
training is scheduled to be con
cluded July 28.
During this training Cadets
Kling and Cavin are receiving
practical experience and in
struction in tactical, technical
and administrative subjects,
• with special emphasis placed on
the duties of a second lieutenant
. in an infantry unit.
