Faulkner Tale
Coming to Tooga
The fast-living, tragic, hard
drinking rebellion of American
youth during the 1920’s is
brought to the screen with re
alism and suspense in “Sanc
tuary”, scheduled for Sunday,
Monday and Tuesday at The
Tooga Theatre in Summerville.
This is based on a William
Faulkner story of the deep South
as he delights in exposing it—
i the proper communities riddled
i with moral decay, the first
’ families behind whose veneer of
social prestige some dark and
startling shame exists. Lee
Remick, Yves Montand and
Bradford Dillman star.
Two horror movies are sched
uled for Wednesday and Thurs
day, “The Shadow of the Cat”
and “The Curse of the Were
wolf.”
Suspense and excitement will
fill the screen when “The Secret
Ways” appears Friday and
Saturday, along with “The
Pharoah’s Woman”. The latter
is a lavish, exciting spectacle.
