to twelve ladies who gathered at
her store Friday. Cokes, cookies
and lemonade was served after
games were enjoyed.
Mrs. Clyde Stephenson and
Mrs. Clyde Bennett were visiting
Mrs. Ben Vaughn last Wednes
day.
Charles Smith was a week-end
visitor of Miss Mamie, Will and
Theo Smith.
Mrs. Hill Clark and James
■were in Summerville Friday.
Claude Ratliff, Cecil Gayler
and V. B. McCrickard spent Fri
day fishing at Leesburg.
Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Powell have
bought the Cecil Gayler home
and plan to move into it soon.

HOLDS REVIVAL
A revival is planned at the
South Trion Church of the Naz
arene beginning Wednesday,
REVIVAL STARTS AT
DRY VALLEY CHURCH
A revival begins Sunday, Sep
tember 3, and continues through
September 9 at Dry Valley Bap
tist Church. Speaker will be
Evangelist Kenneth Putman,
Pastor of Spring Creek Baptist
Church.
Services will begin each eve
ning at 7:30 p.m.
E. H. Carson, Pastor of the
church, makes the announce
ment.
August 3 and ending September
10, with Evangelist Harmon J.
Eason of Savannah.
Mr. Eason is a graduate of
Emory University, Atlanta, Ga.
He began his ministry in 1921.
He is a member of the Georgia
District Advisory Board with the
Nazarenes. He is also an accom
plished musician and will be
playing the organ. Marshall
Lambert invites his many friends
to attend.
