U.S. AIR FORCE
Bobby D. Allen, 19, of 155
Marsh Avenue, Trion, recently
enlisted in the United States Air
Force through the Rome Air
Force Recruiting Office, located
at 2 East 6th Avenue, Rome.
Airman Allen has been as
signed to Lackland Air Force
Base, San Antonio, Texas, where
he is presently undergoing 7
weeks of intensive basic training.
Upon completion of basic train
ing, Airman Allen will be as
signed to a technical training
school of his choice or he may
elect to learn his trade in an on
the-job training capacity. Upon
completion of his technical
training, he will be assigned to
an operational unit of the
United States Air Force In one
of their combat commands.
Airman Allen is a 1960 grad
uate of Trion High School. He
expressed an interest in the Ad
ministrative Career Field prior
to enlistment and was subse
quently enlisted for that spe
ciality.
