Mr. Campbell
Dies; Funeral
Held Saturday
Albert G. Campbell, 57, of 215
Second Street, Trion, died sud
denly Thursday afternoon at
1:45 pm. at the residence fol
lowing a sudden attack.
Mr. Campbell was born in
Chattooga County Aug. 17, 1905,
the son of the late Mattie
Goddard and Andrew J. Camp
bell. He was a lifelong resident
of Chattooga County, and had
made his home with a brother
and siSter-tn-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Jess Campbell, for the past nine
years.
He was a retired employee of |
Riegel Textile Corporation,
Trion Division.
Surviving are one sister. Mrs.
Mary Lee Hardy, Milledgeville; i
six brothers. Luther, Jess, John '
and Robert Campbell, all of
Trion; Frank Campbell, Dalton;
Tiny Campbell, Atlanta. A num
ber of nieces and nephews also
survive.
Funeral services were held at
2 pm. Saturday afternoon at
the Chapel of the J. D. Hill Fu-:
neral Home with the Rev. C. E
Reece officiating, with burial to
follow in the West Hill Ceme
tery, Trion.

William Farmer. 83, Star Route,
CJoudland, who died at his home
Wednesday morning, were held
at 11 am. Friday at the Erwin
Chapel with the Revs. John
Crowe and F E. (Docl Crowe (
Officiating. Burial was In the
Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Surviving are one sister, Miss
Arizona Farmer, Cloudland; one
half sister, Mrs. W. L. Lowrance.

Erwin Funeral Home was In
charge of the arrangements.

However, the drive got under
way Wednesday, he noted, and

at the Trion Parent-Teacher
Assn.
The minister gave a history of
communism and warned of Its
Immense dangers. However, he
said, the dangers would not be
great if the concepts of Christ
were followed fully.
