At Little

The care of caladium bulbs for
winter and the planting of
such bulbs as tulips, daffodils,
cnemones and hyacinths were
discussed by Miss Omie Wiley,
county home demonstration
agent, at the Little Sand Moun
tain Home Demonstration Club.
The meeting was held at the
home ot Mrs Lola Mae Matins
Miss Wiley also showed slides
on how to arrange the colors in
planning flowers for spring.
The club voted to give $lO on
an aisle runner rug for the
church which the ladies' Sun
day School class plans to pur
chase
Refreshments consisting of
pretzels, cookies and Hawaiian
punch were sen rd. Several
members were absent due to ill
ness.
CHICKAMAUGA CHURCH
HOST TO PRESBYTERIANS
The stated fall meeting of
Cherokee Presbytery was held at
vhe new Taylor Morton Memo
rial Presbyterian Church, near
Chickamauga. The Rev. Dennis
Ketchem, host pastor and the
Rev. Charles Harris, pastor of
the LaFayette Church, served
tie Communion.
Dr. P. D. Miller, Executive
Secretary of the Board of
Church Extension, Atlanta, rep
resenting the interagency com
mittee, presented the introduc
tory unit of the work and wor
ship of the church.
The Rev. William Sistar, of
Warner Robins, was received as
a new member and a call from
the Chickamauga Presbyterian
Church was placed in his hands.
He will be installed by a com
mission of Presbytery on Nov. 3.
The Rev. Donald Hyde, a
Christian Minister (Disciples of
Christi, called to serve the Menlo
field, was received. Mr. Hyde, a
graduate of Columbia Seminary,
served the Menlo field when he
graduated in 1929.

bly were elected including the
