Quiet Halloween Observed By
Chattooga Goblins and Spooks
A quiet Halloween was observed in Chattooga County, say
officers.
Both Trion and Summerville police say it was the quietest
Halloween in many years. Summerville Police Chief Griffin
Pledger gave much credit for the orderliness to the civil
defense auxiliary which assisted in patrolling the area.
Some soaping of windows was reported in all four mu
nicipalities but this was about the extent of the pranks.
Most of the “goblins” were little ones in costumes going
from door to door "trick or treating”.
