Brent’s birthday. Then Thurs
day night Mr and Mrs Larry
Canada, of Summerville, en
joyed barbecue supper with his
parent s, celebrating Larry’s
birthday.
Mrs. J. Lee Frye, of Signal
Mountain, and Mrs. Robert Alex
ander, of Rossville, were week
end guests of Mrs J R. Wyatt
and Miss Helen Wyatt.
Mr. and Mrs. "Bud” Tucker

Mrs. C. N. Wilson, age 86,
passed away at her daughter
(Mrs. O. J. Craven’s) home in
Mobile, Ala., Friday. A number
of relatives from Mobile, Cleve
land, Tenn., Reliance, Tenn.,
Greensboro, N. C., Atlanta, Chat
tanooga and LaFayette at
tended. Interment was in Alpine
Cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Copeland
visited Miss Ada Wyatt in Rome
one night last week. She remains
very sick.
Miss Reva Silk returned home
Saturday after undergoing sur
gery in Hutchenson’s Memorial

Missionary
A missionary will conduct a
one-night service at 7 p.m. Mon
day at the Rome Boulevard
Church of God, the Rev. D. T.
Toler, pastor, announces.
He is the Rev. C. E. French,
superintendent of the Church of
God work in Haiti, the Domini
can Republic and Puerto Rico.
He also has served in Peru and
India.
The public is invited, states
