JFuys to Promote Cooperation
Between Parents, Teachers Told
Three suggestions to help
overeome problems between par-i
ents and teachers were made
at the Summerville Elementary
Parent-Teacher Assn, meeting'
Tuesday night
First, it was stated, something
should be done to establish,
communication between the
parents and teachers.
Second, parents should be
consistent, yet loving, in guiding
their children.
And three, the PTA should
establish a fund for teachers to
study in the summer. If only one
teacher a year could go. this
would help provide better teach
ers and would give teachers an
opportunity to better them- i
selves.
The suggestions were made by I

er and teacher at LaFayette
High School. He Is a former
teacher in Mexico where he also
was in child guidance work

cate themselves to PTA by re

of the PTA objectives was pre
sented to the school
