Life Clinic
Postponed
The Spiritual Life Clinic heal
ing services will not be held to
night (Thursday) at the Menlo
Presbyterian Church because
the minister, the Rev. Donald A.
Hyde will be conducting a re
vival at the Beersheba Presby
terian church.
The revival services will con
tinue through Friday, with two
services daily, 10:30 a. m. and 8
p. m.
Regular preaching services will
be held at the Alpine Presby
terian Church Sunday at 10 a. m.,
and at the Menlo church at 11
a. m. and 7:30 p. m. At the
morning services at the Menlo
church, the minister will con
tinue a series of Bible studies in
God’s psychiatry, dealing with
the cure of mind and soul. The
subject for Sunday morning will
be “God’s Rules for Living.”
Evangelistic services will be
held at the Alpine church Fri
day, Saturday, and Sunday,
August 28. 29, and 30. the mini
ster stated. Similar services will
be held at the Cloudland church

Church Budget
The Rev. Darty F. Stowe, pas
tor of Trion’s First Baptist
Church, has announced that
Sunday is the date set on the
church’s calendar of activities to
discuss the church’s budget for
the coming new year. New dea
cons and a new trustee, also will
be discussed. The group will vote
on the three items during the 11
a. m. service.
“Every member of the church
is urged to be present at this
highly important service to cast
a vote according to the leading
of God’s Holy Spirit,” said Stowe.
“Adequate time, in fairness to
every member present, will be
allowed for discussion and vot
