Tammy Lynn Goodman, 15-
month old daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. James Goodman,
Summerville Route 2. The
grandparents are Mr. and Mrs.
V. B. Ellis, Centre, Ala., and
the late Mr. and Mrs. Will
Goodman, of Athens, Tenn.
Mrs. Holland
Dies Al 82
Mrs. Ola Brock Holland, 82, a
resident of Lyerly, died Thursday
at 5 p.m. She was a life-time
member of the Order of Eastern
Star and a member of the Lyerly
Baptist Church. Her daughter,
Mrs. Raymund (Brockie) Daniel,
preceded her in death June 17,
1964.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Horace Abrams, Lyerly; sister,
Mrs. Luther Erwin, Dublin: three
grandchildren, H Leon Abrams,
Jr., Bloomfield, N. J.; Mrs. Paul
Banister, Tallassee. Ala.; Mrs.
Martha Webb, Lyerly. Three
great-grandchildren and a num
ber of nieces and nephews also
survive.
Funeral services were held
Saturday at 11:00 o’clock at the
chapel of the Erwin Funeral
Home with the Rev. J B. Can
trell, Jr., officiating, with inter
ment in Mount Pleasant Ceme
tery.
Pallbearers were nephews and
included Paul Currey, Aaron
Holder, Edward Holder, Marvin
Brock. Donald Brock and Roy
Holder.
Erwin Funeral Home was in
charge of the arrangements.
Strickland Sunday were: Mrs.
Annie Davis and Patricia, Mr.
and Mrs Terry Putnam. Mrs
Emmett Day, Mrs. Mae Barfield,
Mrs. Maggie Mitchell, Mrs. Bessie
Lewis and Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie
Jackson.
Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Keen and
Mrs. Georgia Shamblin were
luncheon guests Sunday of Mr.
and Mrs. William Shamblin, of
. Teloga.
Mr. and Mrs. J T. Langston
and Howard Langston returned
Sunday evening from Fort Bragg,
N. C. where Master Sergeant
Charles R Langston made his
last parachute jump and retired
after 20 years in service.
Visiting Mrs. Andrew Pilgram
Friday were Mrs. W M. Palmer,
Mrs. Rosa Evett and Kay. of La-
Fayette.
Out again after a recent illness
are J. D Strickland and Charlie
Serrett.
Hobart Stallings had the mis
fortune of breaking his leg this
week.
Sunday afternoon guests of
Mrs. Georgia Shamblin were
Mrs. Jean Hood and Mrs. Berta
Pursley, of Teloga.
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pilgram
were Sunday dinner guests of
Minister James Pilgram. Mrs
Pilgram and Samuel and at
tended services at the Church of
Christ in Trenton.

TREADWAY HOME
DAMAGED BY FIRE
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Rex
Treadway at Trion was damaged
by fire Wednesday, Nov. 25.
The fire originated in a closet
near the chimney and the living
room and closet were extensively
damaged.
The Trion Fire Department. l

the blaze under control within I
15 minutes.
