THE BEST PRESENT
A mink stole is a good present. But a full-length mink coat
is a better present.
Or. for the male of the family, a 14-foot motorboat is a good
present; but a 40-foot yacht is a better present.
Good, better, but what’s the best present?
The best present of all is good health!
And one of the best ways to help make people healthy—
yourself included is to plaster your parcels and packages and
paste up your Christmas cards with the gay little Christmas Seals
that come in the mail from your Chattooga TB Association.
Now a holiday tradition—they’ve been around since 1907 —
Christmas Seals help support the vital, nationwide program against
tuberculosis and other respiratory diseases that is carried on by
the National Tuberculosis Association and its state and local af
filiates.
It wasn’t always such.
Back in 1907, the National Tuberculosis Association was only
three years old. The disease was widely prevalent and there was
little money with which to combat it.
Today, Christmas Seals—the best present—do a tremendous
job in carrying on the still crucial fight against tuberculosis and
ether respiratory diseases to whose ultimate control your Christ
mas Seal association is dedicated.
