The Trion High football record
for 1964 was four wins and six '
losses but the team did its best'
work at the last, winning three
of the last four.
This was pointed out by
Sportswriter and Photographer;
T Emmett Nunn Monday night,
when he spoke at the Trion High
football banquet, jointly hosted ;
by the Trion 50-Yard Club and
the Trion Lions Club.

against CV they shot 27 times
and made 10.
Roy Campbell led the scoring
all three nights last week for the
THS boys. He scored 14 point?
against Johnson and CV but only
8 against Berry.
“Whitey” Tucker had 12 points
in the Johnson game and 10
against CV. The other scores
were Duward Cooper, Gary
Lowry, Muri Bandy and Agnew
Myers.
Campbell had a total of 25 re
bounds against CV and Johnson.
The story wasn’t so bright for
the girls, however, as they lost.
The score wasn’t announced.
In the meantime, the boys
team is readying to its encounter
at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Rome in
the annual Christmas tourna
ment. They will take on Calhoun,
the tournament favorite. Sixteen
teams will be participating in
this event, which opens today
and continues into next week.
If the Indians win Friday night,
they will play again Monday
night.
