Sunday evening for their
home in Tulsa, Tex. Minister
Kinnamer conducted a re
vival at the Pleasant Grove
Church of Christ last week.
Taylor Crane is a patient
in the hospital at Trion.
Mr. and Mrs. Grady Clif
ton, of Atlanta, visited Min
tister J. Farris Baird and
Mrs. Baird Monday morning.
Mrs. Milton Cook, of Ma
rietta, who has been visiting
Mr. and Mrs. Ben McCollum,
is visiting this week with Mr.
and Mrs. Carl McCollum and
Mrs. Will McCollum, of Gore.
Mrs. John H. Tinney and
Ellen, of Douglasville, spent
several days last week with
Mrs. Mary Ann Tinney and
other relatives.

a Panama City. Fla., hospital.
Funeral services were conducted
from the chapel of J. D Hill Fu
neral Home at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Burial was in Summerville Ceme

driven by Paul Morris, Route
1, Lyerly; and a 1965 Falcon,
■ driven by R. J. Gardner, 2836
Brighton Avenue, Anniston,
Ala., were involved in the
accident.
! Considerable damage was
done to both vehicles. Ac
cording to State Patrol rec
ords, Morris was charged
with driving under the in
’ fluence and failure to yield
right-of-way.
The accident was investi
. gated by Cpl. Doyal Broome,

Mr. Stubbs also reminded
mailers that parcels weigh
ing up to 40 pounds can be
mailed between first class
post offices less than 150
miles apart. Packages ad
dressed to and from 2nd,
3rd, and 4th class post of
fices, Alaska and Hawaii,
are not affected by the in
crease in size and weight
provisions of the Public Law
89-573, which became effec
tive January 15, he said.
Parcel post mailings to and
from these offices remain at
70 pounds and 100 Inches.
