William Gary Moore was
solemnized Saturday. June
10 at Riegel Memorial Meth
odist Church. The bride is
the daughter of Mr and Mrs
Gordon M. Weaver of Trion.
Mr. and Mrs. James M.
Moore, Sr. are the parents of
the bridegroom. Mrs. Myrtle
Hughes and the late Mr.
Hughes and Mrs. Clyde
Moore and the late Mr
Moore are the grandparents
of the bridegroom.

of wedding music and Miss

carried a basket of yellow
daisies and strowed rose
petals for the bride.
James M. Moore Jr. acted
as best man for his brother

George Adams. Keith Moore,
brother of the groom, served

For her daughter’s wed
ding, Mrs. Weaver chose a
knee-length dress of pink
lace with a high neckline.
Mrs. Moore, mother of the

length dress of blue crepe
with a lace bodice. Both
mothers wore two large cyp

white dress and Mrs Moore
chose a light blue dress for
their grandson’s wedding

Pursley, en route to the
Smoky Mountains to spend
several days. Joining them
for lunch were Mr. and Mrs.
Sid Wilhelm. Mrs. Parker
and Mrs. Espy will leave by
plane Tuesday for a few
days’ vacation in Nassau
and the Bahama Islands.

Majors, of Menlo. She is the
granddaughter of Mrs. W. E.
Majors, also of Menlo.
Mrs. Humphrey is a 1967
graduate of Chattooga High

wayne Dooley in a 4 p.m. ceremony at Welcome
Hil’l June 24. She was a Trion High honor graduate
three weeks ago. Mr. Dooley, is a Chattooga High
graduate. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Baxter of Back Penn Road.

Miss Moore Complimented
With Series of Parties
A series of parties were
held Just prior to the mar
riage of Miss Brenda Weaver
and Gary Moore. The lat
ter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs.
James M. Moore, Sr., enter
tained with a lovely re
hearsal dinner at Riegeldale
Tavern.
The tables were covered
with white linen cloths and
decorated with arrange
ments of gladioli and fern,
while lighted tapers burned
in silver candelabra. White
and silver placecards seated
the guests.
A dinner was served and
toasts offered to the bridal
couple during the evening.
Some 30 members of the
wedding party and out-of
town guests were enter
tained.
The honoree wore a brown
and white two-piece dress
with white accessories.
Another courtesy to the
party was the bridesmaids’
