bama on March 20.
The bride is the sister of
Wilburn Kelly Hudson, Jr.,
of Chattanooga, and Rich
ard Augustus Hudson, of
Summerville.
_She is the granddaughter
of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Chap
palear, of Menlo, and Mrs.
M. W. Meadows, of Summer
ville, and the late L. A. Hud
son.
Mrs. Allen was graduated
from Chattooga High School
and attended the University
of Georgia, where she was
recording secretary of Alpha
Gamma Delta sorority. Her

turned home Friday from a
visit with her son, W. P.

there, they vacationed with
friends In St. Augustine,
Fla., and Mrs. Frank Fisher

in Lone Oak. Misses Frances

She was graduated from
Central High School in
1965. She was a member of
the Beta Club, president of
FTA, Tri-Hi-Y, Glee Club
and Language Circle and
an honor graduate. She is
now a junior at Shorter Col
lege, Rome, where she is
majoring in elementary edu
cation.
Mr. Bailey was graduated
from Chattooga High School.
He was Beta Club president,
vice president of the Span
ish Club, active in the Li
brary Club and Hi-Y. He
was an honor graduate, hav
ing received the English and
history awards and a PTA
scholarship for scholastic
excellence. He will be a sen
ior at Shorter this fall, ma
joring in English and his
tory.
He is vice president of the
Geology Club and of the
Mineral Society for his ex
cellence In geology. He is a
member of Rho Delta and
was recognized at Shorter
Honor’s Day for his magna
cum laude average.
Following their marriage,
the couple will continue
their studies at Shorter.
