IRRIGATION VALUE
Most people recognize the
value of irrigation in vegeta
ble production. However, just
applying water is not the an
swer, according to Extension
horticulturists at the Univer
sity of Georgia. Water must
be applied at the time it can
be of the most value, at
planting time and when the
edible portion is developing.
