Their Dangerous Beliefs . . .
"It is to me inconceivable that under all the circumstances
which prevailed, and with so many able and experienced
generals available, Lt. Colonel Eisenhower could have been
shot up all the way to Supreme Commander Eisenhower in so
short a time, and with so obviously little military ability,
without the Communist push behind him every step of the
way . that luck, we believe, was provided directly from
the Kremlin, with a hammer and sickle woven into every
gorgeous piece." ID (The Politician)
"Os course in both the strategy and the tactics of this
operation, he (Eisenhower) has been guided by, and taken
orders from, the Communist bosses who count on him merely
for the execution of their planning .... he has carried out that
planning well and willingly." (The Politician)
"Clay (General Lucius Clay of Marietta) had done as
much as any other one man to help Eisenhower to mess up the
Berlin situation so favorable for the Russians." (The Politician)
"The Communist top command had decided that the
chances of their reelecting' Truman (in 1948) were good
enough, and their danger if Dewey was elected was small
enough, to justify saving Eisenhower for a greater need."
(The Politician)
"The individual most responsible for Nixon being confirm
ed as Dwight Eisenhower's running mate in 1952 was appar
ently Paul Hoffman, the man who was instrumental in making
the leftist policies of the Ford Foundation what they are
today, a trustee of the Communist Institute for Pacific Rela
tion . . ." (^'(American Opinion)
"The John Birch Society is to be a monolithic (dictator
type) body. A republican form of government or organization
has many attractions and advantages under certain favorable
conditions. But under less happy circumstances it lends it
self too readily to infiltration, distortion and disruption.
AND DEMOCRACY, OF COURSE, IN GOVERNMENT OR
ORGANIZATION is a deceptive phrase, A WEAPON OF
DEMAGOGUERY, AND A PERENNIAL FRAUD." W(A Blue
