o c?irJ GOMERY ’ Ala M -Sgt. Kenneth F. Willmore, son of
B. r. Willmore, Route 2, Boaz, Ala., has been decorated with the
Meritorious Service Medal at Maxwell AFB, Ala.
Sgt. Willmore earned the award for his outstanding service to
the United States as a personnel systems superintendent at
Maxwell. His efforts resulted in major contributions to the
ettectiveness and further improvement of personnel computer
systems within Air University.
The sergeant, 1954 graduate of Crossville (Ala.) High School,
has completed a tour of duty in Vietnam.
His wife, JoAnn, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Brady
of Lyerly.

anniversary Saturday, August

Philpot will award degrees to
945 at summer commencement
exercises Friday, Aug. 25, in
Memorial Coliseum.
Candidates include 15 for
the doctor of philosophy, 19
for the doctor of education,
seven for the specialist in edu
cation, 210 for the master’s,
and 694 for the bachelor’s.
Co m missions will be
awarded to 21 Army, 10 Navy,
and 12 Air Force ROTC
seniors in joint exercises of the
three military branches.
Douglas Matthew Storey is a
candidate for the B. E. E.
degree.
