Clint Allmon, former resi
dent of this community, re
mains very ill in Chattooga
County Hospital.
injuries sustained in an auto
mobile accident. She was born
in Cherokee County, Ala., May
30, 1913, daughter of Harriet
and John Wesley Walls. She
was an employee of Georgia
Glove Co. and a member of
Mountain View Baptist
Church.
Surviving are her husband,
Otis Espy, Route 1, Trion; one
daughter, Mrs. Ann Wofford,
Route 2, Summerville; one
sister, Mrs. Pearlie Martin,
Anniston, Ala.; mother, Mrs.
Harriet Walls, Trion. Three
grandchildren, several nieces
and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held
Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m.
from Mountain View Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Douglas
Brandon and the Rev. A. A.
Tanner officiating. Burial was
in West Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were
Bobby Walls, Bruce Morgan,
L. D. Martin, Lynn Ratliff,
Danny Ratliff, and Doyle
Evans. Honorary pallbearers
were the Ladies Adult Sunday
School Class of Mountain View
Baptist Church.
