RECREATION
NEWS
DOG OBEDIENCE SCHOOL
The Summerville Parks and
Recreation Department has the
opportunity to sponsor a dog
obedience school. There must
be at least 10 dogs participa
ting. The classes will be con
ducted by a professional dog
trainer, and will be held once
each week for 10 weeks. A fee
will be charged for this train
ing. For further information,
call the Summerville Recrea
tion Center office at 857-2614.
TOPS CLUB
The TOPS Club meets at the
Summerville Recreation Center
each Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
SEQUOYAH SQUARE
DANCE CLUB
The Sequoyah Squares will
have their dance class Thurs
day, December 14, from 8
until 10 o’clock p.m. at the
Summerville Recreation
Center.
KNITTING CLASSES
The Summerville Parks and
Recreation Department will
have knitting classes Wednes
day, Dec. 21, from 10 a m.
until noon. Mrs. Sue Spivey is
instructor for these classes. All
persons must furnish their own
supplies. Classes will be held
each Wednesday.
