Kappa lota Educational
sorority held its Christmas
banquet at the Holiday Inn
Monday evening, December 11
at 7 o’clock.
An inspirational message
was presented by Mrs. Mattie
Johnson who also gave the in
vocation before the meal. The
group enjoyed singing carols
led by Mrs. Sidney I vans Sr.
with Mrs. Joe Tom Kerr at the
piano. A basket was passed for
money donations to be used
for altruistic purposes
The menu consisted of roast
turkey and dressing, cranberry
sauce, glazed carrots, English
peas, rolls, congealed fruit
salad, coconut and chocolate
piesand beverages.
The table was decorated
with Christmas garlands and
green candles.
Others enjoying the occa
