Notice Is hereby given that on the
3rd day of October, 1973, an elect
; ion will be held in the Town of
Trion at the Town Hall at which
time there will be submitted to the
qualified voters of said Town for
their determination the question of
whether or not general obligation
bonds shall be Issued by said Town
in the aggregate principal amount
of $400,000 for the purpose of
providing funds to build and equip
a Community Center and such
other related facilities and appurt
enances as may be useful In
connection therewith, to acquire
the necessary property therefor,
both real and personal, and to pay

January 1, 1974 in the de

1973. Those qualified to vote at
said election shall be determined in
all respects in accordance with the
laws governing the election for
officers of said Town and only
those registered and qualified to
vote in elections for officers of said
Town will be allowed to vote in this
election.
The qualified voters at the time
of the election desiring to vote in
favor of the issuance of said bonds
for the above stated purpose of
building a Community Center will
do so by casting their ballot having
printed or written thereon the
following words: "FOR ISSUE OF
$400,000 COMMUNITY CENTER
BONDS" and those qualified voters
desiring to vote against the issuance
of said bonds for the above stated
purpose will do so by casting their
ballot having printed or written
thereon the following words:
"AGAINST ISSUE OF $400,000
COMMUNITY CENTER BONDS."

telegraph the arrival of a
warm front? Why are they
easier to predict than the
arrival of cold fronts 9
A warm front arrives over
our head before you’re usu
ally aware of it. That’s be
cause the leading edge of a
warm front slants forward at
the top. Usually this slant
is considerable, extending
over a distance of hundreds
of miles.
Therefore, when cirrus
clouds appear far up in the
sky, after a clear day, it
may well mean that a warm
front is approaching. These
ice clouds very often are the
first sign in the sky that a
warm front is on its way.
In twelve to twenty-four
hours, you will probably ex
