his church feted him with a
dinner in the fellowship hall of

morning service in celebration
of his birthday anniversary A

Mrs. Beatrice League was
the guest of her daughter and

Mrs. Flora Fountain visited
Mrs. Lillie Mae Wilkerson, a
patient in the local hospital,
last Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robbie Eilen

guests of Mrs. Bessie Forrest,
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Forrest at
LaFayette, and Mrs. Dorothy
Forrest, who is still confined to
the local hospital. Get-well
wishes go to Dorothy that she
may soon be up and out again.
Mrs. James Fountain was
the luncheon guest of Mrs.
Thelma Tripp Friday. She also
visited with Mrs. E. R. Wells on
Thursday.

recovery go to Clyde Fulton, a
patient in Erlanger Hospital in
Chattanooga where he under
went surgery, last week.

Baker, who had been called to
the bedside of his mother, Mrs.
Edmond Baker, in Manchester,
who is critically ill, came
Sunday afternoon for a brief
visit and Mrs. Baker returned
home with him.

Mrs. T C. Baker. Mr. and Mrs.

IT’S DEER SEASON ONCE AGAIN
Jerry Johnson of Summerville, a member of Chat
tooga Archery Club, recently killed this 160-pound
(field dressed) deer on John’s Mountain. The kill was
made at 35 yards with a 55-pound pull bow.
