A London Fog coat that's a marvel of versatility. The
slim simple shape is so today. There's that all
important back slit, too. Plus the great young look of
a hood. And a comfortable zip-out warmer. But the
best part is the wonderfully easy care, wash 'n wear
Fortrel* polyester and cotton fabric. That's what we
at London Fog call quality, that's what you call value.

Let me wish you a Holiday
Season filled with minus
calorie foods, well disguised
turkey leftovers and freedom
from food poisoning, as well as
health and happiness in the
new decade.
If you are having an open
house or buffet, how can you
keep the foods at a safe
temperature?
First, decide how many
people you can safely serve.
How much time will it take to
prepare the food? Don't try to
feed more people than you can
handle. Consider the size and
quantity of the cooking equip
ment you have, your supply of
eating utensils and dishes.

Figure out how much
5 refrigerator space you’ll need
I to store foods.
If cold cuts are part of the
holiday party fare, make sure
that they are fresh and kept
• chilled. Don’t allow them to
; stand at room temperature
tob long, Instead, use several
trays of food while one is on
the table, keep the rest
refrigerated. Bring out a fresh
tray frequently to replace
those partly used. Then meats
stay cold and bacteria don’t
have a chance to grow.
Shrimp salad is another
perishable item. How about
> packing the serving dish in
cracked ice? Or, use smaller
serving dishes and refill often
, from the refrigerator.
Deviled eggs, some cheese
and sour cream dips must be
j kept cold. Serve only what is
neeed at any one time and
replace with fresh, chilled
foods when needed.
Be especially careful with
i eggnog. A punch bowl of eg
gnog that stands for hours at
1 room temperature is a fine
। breeding place for bacteria.
