Anniversary Honors Are Received
Mr. and Mrs. Horace
Payton of Trion were honored
with a reception Sunday, May
23, in the fellowshg) iall of
Ridgeway Baptist Church in
celebration of their 25th wed
ding anniversary. The recep
tion was hosted by their
children, Mr. and Mrs. Mike
Payton, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Patterson and Charles
Payton.
Guests were registered at a
table covered with a white lace
cloth accented by an arranFe
ment of yellow and blue
flowers. The guest book was
kept by Miss Jana Alexander.
Cake and nuts were served
from a table covered with a
soft blue cloth overlaid with
white lace. The three-tiered
white cake was adorned with
yellow roses accented with
green. Yellow and blue sugar
wedding bells enhanced the
bottom layer and a miniature
bride and groom, along with
encircled numerals symboliz
ing the silver wedd};ng an
niversary, adorned the top
layer. The cake was made and
decorated by Mrs. Jeanette
Ward and Mrs. Kaye Payton
of LaFayette.

white tapers also com
plimented Sxe table along with
silver compotes filled with
nuts. Cake was served by Mrs.
Glenda Deßerry and Ms.
