And...the food!!
Unbelievable! Service and
food fit for a King. At the
same table, with the same
waiter and bus boy ever meal.
Midnight buffet for those who
could eat. Snacks, ham
buriers. salads on the Lido
Deck almost constantly. Plus,
24-hour room service and even
breakfast in bed!
Sunday, with the help of a
tug boat, we docked at
Nassau, the capital of the
Bahamas, First stop on the
tour was Fort Charlotte, built
entirely of stone. Driving on
the wrong side of the road,
with no traffic lights, we pass
ed Nassau Beach and The
Emerald Beach Hotel, then on
to Fort Fincastle, built in
1793. For a small fee, some
tourist took an elevator to the
top for a view of Nassau and
New Providence. After walk
ing down The Queen’s Stair
case (bb handmade steps)
named for Queen Victoria, and
some picture-making, we
visited a World Famous Straw
Market, where we purchased
gifts — straw dolls, purses,
trays, fans, baskets and
beads.
Tuesday, we docked at San
