Amateur Radio Field Day Held
The Chattooga-Walker County Amateur
Radio Club participated in the annual
field day event for amateur radio
operators nationwide this past weekend.

the theft of two chain saws
from a truck parked on a local
service station lot over the
weekend.

A county resident has been
arrested and charged in con
nection with the apsarent
burglary of a local residence
over the weekend.
Authorities identified the
resident as Homer Williams,
25, of Route 1, Summerville.
He was arrested Sat.urd;{ and
charged with burglary. He has
been released from jail on a
SIO,OOO bond.
Williams is charged with
the burglary of the Larry
Kilgo residence at Route 1
Box 88 in Summerville in the
early morning hours of Satur
day, according to Investigator
Tony Gilleland. Taken from
the residence was a stereo and
