BEND WITHOUT PAIN
Many backaches strike
because of poor bending
posture. A sudden violent
movement can strain
ligaments and muscles.
Subluxations (spinal
misalignments) can be total
ly disabling.
Chiropractic uses cor
rective structural adjust
ment which helps restore
normal nerve flow, muscle
strength, balance, and flex
ibility. It relieves the agoniz
ing pain and makes your
back flexible again.
To prevent future oc
curences, follow proper
bending procedures: (1)
Never bend from waist only.
(2) Never lift any heavy ob
ject higher than your waist.
(3) Always face the object
you will lift. (4) Avoid carry
ing unbalanced loads. Hold
heavy objects close to your
body. (5) Avoid sudden
movements or ‘‘over
loading” of muscles. Move
deliberately, swinging legs
from hips.
