he discovered several olg newsgapers, some of which
dated back to the late 1800 s. Collins di;plays a Dec. 8,
1941 edition of The Chattanooga News-Free Press with
giant headlines showing what this country did after
earl Harbor.

In order to be placed on the
Dean’s List, a student must
complete the quarter with at
least a 3.5 grade-point average
out of a possible 4.0.
West Georgia is a senior
college division of the Univer
sity gystem of Georgia.

Revival Continues
The youth choir of
Rid%eway Baptist Church will
be featured singers for the
revival service Thursday
night at West Summerville
Baptist Church. The adult
choir from House of Prayer in
Blairsville and the New An
tioch Baptist Church Quartet
will be featured singers for the
Friday night service.
Bobbfi Thompson of River
dale is the evangelist for the
revival services which begin
at 7:30..
The Sounds of Prophecy
will be featured at a siniing
Sunday night at 6 o’clock at
West gummerville.
An invitation is extended
to everyone to attend these
services by the pastor, Tom
my Seay.
The City of Summerville has declared the
month of April as “Clean-Up Month.” The Mayor
and Council states the month will be aimed at get
ting local residents to pick up, paint up, and clean
up their property. During the month residents can
leave any trash or junk at curbsite and a city crew
will pick it up. The Mayor and Council also urge
local civic clubs and other organizations to get
behind the effort to clean up the City.
