Chattooga County Agent
Lamar Woodall of Lyerly,
who recently completed a
four-week training course in
Macon, has been named
Georgia Farm Bureau In
surance Company agent for
Chattooga County. Announce
ment was made by Wayne
Hurley, county president of
Chattooga County Farm
Bureau.
The new agent is a
graduate of North East State
Junior College and just short
a few hours of a B. S. Degree
in Business Administration.
He and his wife, the former
Rose Ann Caldwell of Lyerly,
have two children,
Christopher and Errynn Hill

LAMAR WOODALL
The City of Summerville is requesting bids for
the renovation of the building located off Lyerly
Highway, known as the “Scout Hut.” This will in
clude two restrooms, kitchen, cabinet work, elec
trical, plumbing, underpinning of restroom area,
labor and materials, and other items listed in
specifications which can be obtained at City Hall
or the Recreation Department office on Bolling
Road. ,
All bids must be sealed and marked ‘““Sealed
Bid” on the envelope, and received at City Hall no
later than 5:00 p.m. on April 8, 1983. Bids will be
opened by the Mayor and City Council at 7:00 p.m.
on Monday, April 11, 1983 at City Hall.
The City reserves the right so accept or reject
any and all bids.

CPR C(lasses
Set Locally
A CPR (cardiopulmonary
resuscitation) course will be
held Thursday, April 7, at the
Chattooga County Hospital
from 8 a.m. until noon.
To register for the course,
contact Jimmy Bennett at
857-4761. There will be a $5
registration fee for the course.
CPR is first aid given to
heart attack victims.
