Gallon Pin Presented
The American Red Cross Bloodmobile made a stop in
Summerville Monday. During the bloodmobile’s stop
Alice Sprayberry (right) gave a unit of blood, com
pleting one gallon of glood she has donated to the pro
gram over a period of time. Presenting Ms. Spragberry
with a gallon pin for her donations is Joyce Brown
(left), the localp blood program chairman. The blood
mobile collected only 13 units of blood during its stop.

A number of the top 15 fic
tion and nonfiction publica
tions on the March 25 hard
cover bestseller list are
available for reading free of
charge at the Chattooga Coun
ty Library.
The library personnel
notes, however, that several of
the books are quite popular
and may have a waiting list of
local residents wanting to
check the book out of the
library.
Twelve of the top 15 fiction
bestsellers are available
through the library with the
remaining three from the list
on order by the local library.
There are seven of the top 15
nonfiction bestselfers
available through the library.
The library has five other
books on the list on order, but
have not yet ordered three of
the bestsellers.
The fiction bestsellers
ranie in price from $9.95 per
book to $17.95 each with the
average book on the list
costing an estimated $15.58.
The nonfiction bestsellers
range in price from $10.95
each to $22.50 per book with
the average book on the list
costing approximately $15.62.
