Focus Of Service
Laity leadership will be the
focus of the special worship
service Sunday, April 10, at
the Summerville Presbyterian
Church.
Elders Betsy Dellenback,
Curry Davis, Will Hair and
Winnie Pitts will lead worship
and the Rev. Dr. James E. An
drews, Slated Clerk of the
General Assembly of the
Presbyterian Church in the
United States, wiil deliver the
sermon. Dr. Andrews received
his Doctor of Divinity degree
from Austin Theological
Seminary.
Besides his present office
as Slated Clerk of the General
Assembly, he has served as
Assistant Pastor, St. An
drews Presbyterian Church,
Houston, Texas; Information
Officer, World Alliance of
Reformed Churches, Geneva,
Switzerland; and Director of
Public Relations and Assis
tant to the President,
Princeton Theological
Seminary.
