Andrea Singleton (left), age I'% years old, and Ashley
Singleton (right), age 3"z years old, are the children of
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Singleton of Lexington, Ky. Their
grandfiarents are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Gilley of Sum
merville and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Singleton of Rich
mond, Ky. Their mother is the former Carole Gilley of
Summerville.

The City of Summerville is requesting bids for
the installation of four (4) twenty foot poles on
Commerce Street for pedestrian crosswalk signs.
Poles to be set 8 feet six inches in depth in 26" X
36'}’1h?lles. Rebar specifications may be seen at Ci
ty Hall.
The City will furnish poles, anchor bolts and
signs.
All bids must be sealed and marked “Sealed
Bid” on the envelope, and received at City Hall no
later than 5:00 p.m. on April 8, 1983. Bids will be
opened by the Mayor and Council at 7:00 p.m. on
Monday, April 11, 1983 at City Hall. ;
All work to be guaranteed in writing for twelve
(12) months. :
The City reserves the right to accept or reject
any and all bids.

Bethel Methodist Church
will sponsor a benefit gospel
singing Saturday at the Gore
Community Center beginning
at 7 g.m.
The Gospel Brass will be
the featured group, as well as
other local groups.
Admission is free, but an
offering will be taken up with
proceeds going to benefit
i Cams Hamby. A concession
stand will be serving hot dogs,
Cokes and coffee.
The community center is
located at the site of the old
Gore School, five miles south
of Summerville just off U. S.
Highway 27.
The public is invited to at
