Chattooga County's Channel 6 will be on
the air 24 hours ada beginning Friday,
April 8. The channe{ is a joint venture
between New-Light, Inc. and Tony
Gilleland. Channel 6 was leased from
Clear-Vu Cable, Inc. for 20 years and will
feature local news, sports, community

“We will be heavy on local
news and sports,’”’ said

The local band **Fireweed"

battle of the bands contest in
Atlanta Tuesday nlfht.
The competition, con
ducted at Hemingway's, pit
