school screening is scheduled
in the Chattooga County
School System as follows:
Summerville Elementary
— Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday — April 19, 20, 21
from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Pennville Elementary —
Tuesday, April 26 from 7:30
a.m.-5 p.m.
Lyerly Elementary —
Wednesday, April 27 from

All children living in Chat
tooga County who will be five
Kears old by Sept. 1, are eligi
le to enroll in a Georgia
public school kindergarten.
Transportation for
kindergarten children will be
provided by the school system
on the same basis as for other
children.
Children who will be six
years old by Sept. 1 who are
not presently attending
kindergarten are to register
for first grade as scheduled
above.
Parents should bring. a
copy of the child’s birth cer
tificate and a copy of the
child’'s immunization record
when registering. These items
are required by law; however,
if the birth certificate is not
readily available or if the im
munizations are incomplete
