Beauty Tips
Q. I have dark facial hair
which is very unsightly. What
do you suggest I use to
remove it?
A. There are various
methods for removing un
wanted facial hair. These in
clude electrolysis, shaving,
depilatory creams and waxes.
We do not recommend shav
ing because it will eventually
show hair stubble. Elec
trolysis is a good method for
removing unwanted hair but
it can be very excf)ensive.
Cream depilatories esi?ned
especially for the face will ef
fectively remove facial hair
but they must be used fairly
often. One of the best ways to
solve this problem is to use a
wax which comes in its own
little heating pot. You melt
the wax over low heat. Then,
apply dusting powder to the
area where hair is to be remov
ed. Next, smooth on the wax
with the special applicator.
Follow all tgg instructions in
the depilatory kit and the
result is that all the hair, down
to the roots, will be removed
with the wax and it will usual
ly be weeks before it grows
back. The wax can also ge us
ed on arms and legs. :

BACKACHE RELIEF
A healthy body begins
with a properly aligned
spinal column. Each nerve
cable emanating from your
spine carries some 300,000
tiny nerves. Small wonder
you're a “‘bundle of nerves”
and are difficult to live with
when you have a spinal
misalignment.
A misalignment of one
or more spinal bones
(vertebrae) causes irritation
or pressure on the nerve
that leaves the spinal cord
through an opening bet
ween the vertebrae (pinched
nerve). An adjustment helps
correct and normalize this
impinged nerve supply. Nor
mal function returns to the
organ in exact ratio to the
return of normal nerve im
pulses. Correcting spinal
misalignment can relieve
painful, irritating
backaches. Your chiroprac
tor may alsc suggest ultra
sound, biofeedback,
meditation, or nutritional
counseling to help
strengthen, stretch and
balance your spine, restor
ing it (and you) to health.
