RACQUETBALL — FUN
BUT PAINFUL
Racquetball is good ex
ercise, but continue with it
long enough and you may
experience painful and
potentially serious nerve
muscle skeletal problems.
The sport creates unbalanc
ed muscles which can
cause much spinal stress
and often result in lower
back-leg pain. Also, small
rips (micro-tears) occur in
tendons of your forearm
musclés near your elbow.
Inflammation strikes. Cau
tion: constant squeezing
the grip of your handle
(especially with small and
ring fingers) may cause ten
donitis. A sudden stop or
twist may cause a spinal,
pelvic or neck injury.
Your chiropractor is
trained to bring relief from
the kinks and knots that
often affect your spine’s
complex structure. Spinal
adjustments, programmed
mild exercise, and hydro
helio therapy are all aimed
at easing pain in your abus
ed bones, ligaments,
muscles, nerves, tendons
and more. This multi
pronged approach eases
and relieves pain frequently
associated with racquetball.

The Supreme Court of
Georgia affirmed 93 percent of
criminal appeals it considered
during the first three months
of 1983.
The cases included direct
appeals, granted reviews of
decisions by the intermediate
Court of Appeals and appeals
from habeas corpus pro

busiest state courts of last

include civil cases.
The study shows that for
the first quarter of 1983, the
Court af%rmed 39 criminal
convictions. It reversed three
or 7 percent; however, new
trials were ordered in each of
the reversals and no criminal
