Miss Cordie Maxwell, 73, a
resident of Route 1, Trion,
passed away Monday, Feb. 4,
at 3:50 p.m. at her residence,
She was born in Chattooga

Methodist by faith,

ville; several nieces and
nephews also survive,
Funeral services were held
Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m,
from the chag{ol of Erwin-
Petitt Funeral Home with the
Rev. Harold Barnett and the
Rev. Billy Spraggins of
ficiating.
Interment was in Wesley
Ellenburg

The local Optimist Club
has volunteered to remove the
decorations when a suitable
storage site can be found. The
committee discussed hiring a
local locksmith to pick the
lock on the storage building.
The retailers planned a
