cluded in the deal besides land. As to my
knowledge, none of these poognlo. who know so
much, have ever been on the farm, so what do
they know? As to the report that [ am leaving
the county is untrue. I am keeping my home
and living within 150-feet of the property line.
It's the people on the outside who are making
these threats we need to fear, not the ones on
the inside. An{;‘p: who would threaten little
children and e“y le are mean enough
to do anything. We K:ve been harassed and
threatened harm if we sell our OWN g:opa'ty.
These pco%l: will be caught sooner or later and
we might be surprised who they are.
Also, when the State was looking for a
prison site, some of these people who are now
very much o&’)ooed to location here, were
EAGER and WILLING to sell their property
in PENNVILLE and nearby for the prison,
Seems some of the opposition have played
both sides.
Sincerely,
Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Underwood
While I'm writing let me express my feel
ings about the Crawford event. It took so
meone ty sick minded to put that family
mmugmtthoydid.mtjultmwfi
ve that it is not the ones that are in prison that
you have to worry about. It is the perverts like
the person or persons who did that to the
Crawfords that are d-ol:sorouu! I would like to
commondm Crawford for doing his job and
doing it by trying to help Chattooga
County grow.
Sincerely,
E. D. Scott
